    1. @ceruleanspark Not too bad. Been in a good mood since I saw the letter from Lauren Faust. You?

      1. @communistprime Letter from Lauren Faust? I've been asleep for most of last week. What've I missed?

        1. @ixfocus Oh, I won the Applejack auction. I feel bad talking about it now, because it feels like I'm bragging. But it made me so happy when I saw the letter~

            1. @ixfocus Yes, the original art sketch by Lauren Faust. Here's a pic of it and the letter: sketch - http://i56.tinypic.com/x45bfa.jpg letter - http://i54.tinypic.com/eq1cz.jpg

              1. @communistprime That's so awesome! I wish I'd heard about it, but I doubt I'd be able to pay as much as I just saw on Equestria Daily for it.

                1. @ixfocus It was worth it, really. A last second (almost literally) impulse buy. I can't wait to see it when I get home though, my grandma is framin' it for me right now.

              2. @communistprime Ohhh, wow, that's fantastic! Way to go! :)

      2. @communistprime Somewhat frustrated. I am trying to teach a Blackberry server and a SQL server the meaning of friendship so that our sales team will start getting emails on their blackberry handsets again, but I don't seem to be getting anywhere.

        1. @ceruleanspark Ooooh, that sounds like a bunch of awesome fun times. I wish I knew something about that stuff...seems like something I'd really like.

          1. @communistprime It's fun for the first couple of hours where you feel like Dr House, but after a while being yelled at by salespeople implying that not getting their email on their cellphones is a life or death issue gets reaaaaaaaally old.

            1. @ceruleanspark I've dealt with stuff...er, I actually still do deal with that stuff...in the Army. I'm sure a bunch of silly salespeople wouldn't phase me at all. But then again, they'd still get annoying. I hate annoying.

              1. @communistprime They don't really bother me. Half my family is in medicine, so they've imbued me with some perspective on the "life and death" front too. They're really just annoying and a little offensive. (There's only so many times you can be called incompetant by someone who can barely hold a mouse before you get an overwhelming urge to kill them with a bat) What do you do in the army?

                1. @ceruleanspark I am an intelligence analyst, so life and death is a part of my job too. Well, when you're deployed everyone's job is life and death, I guess. But I have been called incompetent and retarded by people that don't know a thing about my job and who don't know how to operate a computer~!

                  1. @communistprime I was just looking up what intelligence analysis actually entails, and all I can say is: you are a braver man than I sir. Which army are you with? US?

                    1. @ceruleanspark Yep, that's me. US Army, chillin' (not really) in Afghanistan at this time.

    2. @rotation The blackberry server just won't acknowledge the existance of the SQL server, but only some of the time. It's bizzare.
