The Cabal has arrived.

@greydragon412 I'd call it more of a rainbowdash.net bug. The first *three* links have the same id attribute, which is so many kinds of broken.

@greydragon412 @starshine This was addressed (I didn't see the message beforehand though haha) ~ yeah, the problem originally was that tink had Meetups and Personal under the same ID, so I had to just select it by the second menu item. When this changed, my way to find the current user's name broke. Now that each has an individual ID there shouldn't be any further problems with that. The userscripts page was updated a few hours ago to reflect this !rdnrefresh

@haganbmj Hm. I shall upgrade, then.
Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 05:30:45 UTC from web-
@starshine Cool beans. That was the only thing I changed - the link selection.
Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 05:31:42 UTC from web-
@haganbmj Huh. Strange how that made it work. Now if only all those extra links fit on the page...

@starshine Oh, is there an alignment issue now? Do what I do and hide the logo! It's a bit of a hassle when I want to navigate back to the mainpage without touching my keyboard, but it works wonders.

@haganbmj @starshine Easy to read! http://ur1.ca/4srg7
Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 05:35:12 UTC from web-
@haganbmj and your browser window is about 400px wider than mine!
Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 05:37:24 UTC from web-
@starshine xD 1280w! It's really grown on me.

@haganbmj I'm thinking more along the lines of hiding the links.
Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 05:36:00 UTC from web-
@starshine Could do that as well - not nearly as convenient though (perhaps) - don't need the Connect, Invite, Logout, or Search buttons probably.
Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 05:37:42 UTC from web-
@haganbmj the only one I click pretty much ever is "personal".
Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 05:38:58 UTC from web-
@starshine Yeah that makes sense. I only ever use account to change my picture anyways. Give it a shot - might clear up that alignment issue.
Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 05:40:12 UTC from web-
@haganbmj I'm sure it will, because I tried it in the console already :D

@derpy It's a great series, I'm a fan of the art and story; which is that the fire nation has over the past 100 years or so been asserting their dominance over the world. The one figure who would have ordinarily kept the balance between the four nations of the earth (fire, water, air/wind, earth) is the avatar; who has the innate ability to learn control over all four of the elements (as opposed to the one which select beings are able to command). Having slain the remainder of the air nomads with the knowledge that the young avatar was amongst the people of that nation, the Fire nation was unchallenged (well, mostly) over the course of that 100 years and people lost hope as world domination seemed possible. 2 water tribe members find the frozen body of Aang, who is the last remaining member of the air nation - and also the avatar. Due to some backstory and personal drama, he was frozen in time under water before the rest of his people were murdered. So, it's his venture to learn stuff.

@derpy So it's his venture to learn the rest of the elements, in hopes of defeating the fire lord (monarchy) ~ after whom it would appear they expect the fire nation to drop back and return to more of a balance. It's a very fun series, and one of my all time favorite American cartoons.

@derpy Oh, and I suck with explaining story. So I probably missed a few key points and explained things incorrectly.

@derpy Ohh, you mean legend of korra q.q ~ Well, it's post-Aang, and centers around Korra of the water tribe. She's learning air bending from Aang and Katara's son while exposing an inner city band of anti-benders as they've become known. There's politics and such in it from what I know.

@derpy Tenzin looks awesome. I'm expecting they'll play on his relation to aang and try to bring up some jokes and references there.
Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 05:51:41 UTC from web -
@derpy xD Of course! haha ~ It's 70 years after the events of Last Airbender.

@derpy Code Geass is an excellent series. I simply love the underlying tone in it (politically).
Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 05:53:10 UTC from web -
@derpy xD He's the last of them! He can do whatever he wants!
Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 05:53:52 UTC from web -
@derpy Oh the ending, it's one of those endings you don't expect - the twists behind it. Lelouch is a fantastic person throughout, and reminds me in a way of L throughout Death Note. You think they're going one direction, then Everything falls into place.

@derpy Psh of course we needed a chance at an Air Bender!
