@doates no. That is a monster thought up by the Imperial Japanese Naval Staff during WW2. That thing could sink every ship in the allied fleet in the Pacific

@doates yep. I can name off the calbier and nation of Orgin of any warship from WW1 onwards

@lordsombra87 Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Indianapolis the ship that got hit and began to sink and the crew were attacked by sharks?

@doates Yep. sunk by I-21 of the IJN. 800 men lost their lives. She was sunk after she brought the atomic bomb to Tinian Island

@lordsombra87 I do know little about ships, though I am now studying for upcoming college stuff. Also, isn't the Texas the oldest one afloat?

@doates The Texas is the oldest dreadnought left in the left in the beside the IJN Mikasa. The Tezas is now in permanent dry dock due to her age

@doates oh you can. it's open to the public. same with the Mikasa, But the olest ships still in active service are the HMS Victory and USS Constitution which is of course the oldest afloat

@lordsombra87 I've seen the USS Constitution during a school trip to Baltimore and my dad was my chaperone and my group spend the two hour long lunch break there. It was great.

@doates USS Constellation. built in 1853, sits in Baltimore Harbor as a Museum ship
