  1. Nintendo needs to either fix the battery life, or the horrendous nausea before buying the 3DS becomes a worthwhile proposition. £170 to feel sick? I can buy some REALLY nice booze and get just as sick for less.

      1. @captlynch The 3D works for me. It just makes me sick and completely destroys my balance for some reason.

        1. @ceruleanspark it ruins your depth perseption...I can;t even go to 3d mmovies cause it gives me a splitting headache...so the 3DS is a waste of money for me that also stops me buying the new titles...damn nintendo

          1. @captlynch 3D movies (polarised), and Active Shutter 3D don't make me feel sick at all actually. Just the Glassess-Free solutions. I sat through Avatar and beat a member of the British Royal Family at Wipeout HD on a 3DTV fine, but 30 minutes with a 3DS was enough for me to be walking into stuff and dry-heaving.

            1. @ceruleanspark I don;t get why even 3D films make me ill...I think itds to do with the prescription specs I have to wear

              1. @captlynch Glasses here too. Do FPS's make you nauseous, ever? I can't play half of them because of it (Mostly source stuff with the odd FOV.)

                1. @ceruleanspark No...just anything with 3D...no idea why...tried to watch avatar 3d at the cinema once, was seeing double when I got out

                  1. @captlynch I wonder if it'd still happen if you got some kind of...prescription 3D glasses, or if it's something to do with your visual cortex. Interesting.

                      1. @captlynch Actually, there's a setup kind of like it in my old university. A cube where every wall is a head-tracking enabled screen.

        2. @ceruleanspark It's pointless in games that use the accelerometer like Super Monkey Ball 3D ,because you have to turn the 3D off to use that control scheme properly.

          1. @leonkfox It would take a string of AAA titles that work (as in, are strong titles in their own right) without the 3D for me to go out and buy one.

            1. @ceruleanspark I just want better battery life, 3D that doesn't make you ill and above all else a better games selection.

    2. @ceruleanspark I sold my 3DS because even on its lowest setting the 3D made me get a headache after a little while, and besides Rayman 3D the game selection was non existant when I had it, Asphalt 3D was okay ish but yeah, had very little reason to keep it.

      1. @leonkfox I know what you mean...some reviewers have also said you have to keep your head in the right spot at all times for thre stupid 3D to work

        1. @captlynch And they would be correct, unfortunately =/
