I had a brief discussion on this a while back, but I'm interested in some fresh opinions and your own thoughts on how this might work. Quite often do we hear the phrase "Friendship is Magic". But does this apply in a more literal sense? What if the friendships all over Equestria generated a sort of magical energy that lingered for a long time? What happens if that energy dissipates eventually?

@awlderpy Depends on how you count the Elements of Harmony for Discord. They could possibly have used a little bit of that magic to create a burst of more friendship energy. Considering Sombra was ultimately defeated by the Crystal Heart's energy and the Crystal Empire's love, I'd say that fits in pretty well. :P
