@haganbmj I don't know how much you have, but I've got 12.5GB with all the PMVs and episodes I've downloaded. Trying to back it up to an external drive was fun.

@haganbmj Yea. My computer's new, so thankfully I don't have to worry about space yet, but I can't back up to the 2GB flash drive that my pony folder used to share with several other topics at the start of all this.

@eaglehooves My computer's fairly recent as well (year?), but for some reason only had a 300gb hard drive built in - which between school programs and a number of larger files goes fairly quickly.

@madflavors My family designated me tech support for one of those. They want me to get an old dell with 1.6ghz processor, a 36gb HDD and 768mb ram to run Photoshop. It literally hurts me to work with that thing. #complaining

@madflavors Just realized I missed your comment earlier about only having 50GB. That's unfortunate. Maybe you could drop another HDD into it to get some extra space, and maybe some extra RAM, that's not too hard and a lot cheaper than another computer. If you can afford that you might be able to make it keep chugging a bit longer.

@madflavors I've been there. As long as you have a computer available if that one dies. Last fall my desktop was broken for almost two weeks, drove me crazy being stuck without a PC. At first it was ok, then I started to realize how much I look stuff up online. After about 12 hours of do-it-yourself tech support across 4 days, I managed to bring it back to life.

@haganbmj I know. I got mine in May for college in the fall. Due to all the old content I moved from my desktop I've filled over 200gig already. A lot of it is junk that can go away, but it's a pain to sort through all of it.

@eaglehooves Right right - there's a point at which I just don't want to deal with certain folders (like some of the disorganized pony image folders I have) ~ I started fresh on this computer though; only transferred over my music files.

@nightwillow Nice. Mine was a grad present too, but it's a workhorse (Dell Latitude). One of my friends got an Alienware laptop for college. He's got more money than tech skills, though, so my computer actually runs better than his.
