  1. ...Somepony just said something that is either blasphemy, or very, very scary. He said that there is a fanfic that makes Cupcakes look like a child's novel. There's no way in hell I'm googling it. However, if I tell you the name, I'm sure some of you will google it, and the resulting autoimmune response will blast the pony exoskeleton right off you. And I don't want that to happen.

      1. @kingcarcinopony @abigpony Well, scared isn't the best word. Disgusted is better. The story in question is called "Sweet Apple Massacre".

          1. @kingcarcinopony I know, I know. Trust me, I've already fought off the taint. But yeah. I'd never been exposed to any of that stuff. Cupcakes 1-3 almost killed my bronydom entirely.

            1. @ans1 I fear for the future when something like that can make people cringe.

              1. @kingcarcinopony Sorry... new topic?

    2. @abigpony @kingcarcinopony Well, I guess it's not so bad to people who like that kind of stuff. When I was exposed to it, I had never seen any horror flicks, never read any horror novels, never gotten involved in any of that stuff. So don't blame me for being scared of it. Besides, it's not even the story itself that bugs me. It's the CONCEPT. Change ONE ASPECT of a character's personality, and the result can be drastically different. It's freaky....

    3. @abigpony My imagination is too much for my own good. I didn't read it as much as I watched it. That's part of how I think differently than most people. Whether that's a curse or a blessing, who knows...

    7. @abigpony @kingcarcinopony Hmm... If cupcakes is as bad as you say, then why is it so infamous? Was Srg. Sprinkles the first person to make something like this?

      1. @ans1 That's my (limited) understanding.

    8. @abigpony Ah, that makes sense. I guess most of the shock value comes from Rule 58: The more beautiful and pure a thing is, the more satisfying it is to corrupt it.

      1. @ans1 Ah, yes. Fight Club. "I wanted to destroy something beautiful."
