@egg I had the same thing happen a couple months ago with an old friend I knew since 2nd grade. It's amazing how different we are now.

@einhorn That kind of thing happened when I tried to get back in touch with my best friend I had from kindergarten -> 8th grade, but he's a completely different person now, and I soon found out a friend I had from kindergarten till the beginning of middle school died a couple years back. :C

@flamingpandaomg Wow, that's intense. It's just so strange to see how people grow apart like that. I'm thankful I've never had a friend die on me. A good friend of mine once had a friend die in his hands. They'd slipped in the bathroom and cracked their head on something when they were both really young.

@renny That's the weird thing. He doesn't seem too shaken up about it if you ask him. I guess just because it was when he was really young. It's just kind of a thing to him now I suppose.

@einhorn I'm sad I wasn't able to talk to him for the last few years before he died, and it depresses me that he probably didn't remember me after the loss of contact, but that's life, y'know? Things like this happen.
