@adrianbrony Your not flooded though right?
-
@rarityfan no bit it might cut off a LOT of peoples work commutes
-
@rarityfan I live up in the hills in Iowa, so I'm safe. too far from the river to get flooded myself
Ben Rose likes this. -
@adrianbrony Well at least your alright I was worried on of my friends was hurt
-
@adrianbrony ...Yay
-
@rarityfan well, depends, one of the levees protects an entire town. if it were to break, the entire town of Carter Lake Iowa would be wiped out, as would be the only major airport in a long while
-
@adrianbrony Thats...really really really bad!
-
@rarityfan and I have some family living there
-
@adrianbrony I hope nothing bad happens...I really do
-
@rarityfan heh, thanks. I'm sure they will be fine in the worst case, really. it's not like a sea flood, so it won;t engulf all of the city. but at the sme time, the flood will have the same current as the river, possibly making it more dangerous. anyone who has ever seen the Missouri river would know never to swim in it if you don't like drowning and/or getting mercury poisoning.
-
@adrianbrony Damn thats some pollution!
-
@rarityfan not so bad anymore compared to what it used to be, most of the pollution is settled in the bottom, but with the river all flooded, it is no doubt stirred up.
-
@adrianbrony True I wish you the best of luck
-
@rarityfan yeah, thanks.
-
@adrianbrony really? it wasn't flooded when I was at the airport this morning
-
@nightwillow hmm, from what I heard after thee fact it was just a portion of abbot drive near qwest.
-
@adrianbrony huh. so how long have you been in the group !nebronies? I never noticed you before. where do you live?
