I think we need examples where direct #democracy really works. In most countries becoming (part of the) government is a #long process (you have to be elected and for that you have to make a campaign and before that you have to actually #DO politics). !Not everyone can do that: money, fighting off competition or others whodon't want that person to get into the hierarchy ranks (me speaking of hierarchy also says something here)
