    1. @mushi What are YOU going on about?

      1. @clayinthecarpet i saw a guy saying that on the TV today. Somehow, i dont think locking someone with dozens on people that are dangerous to the society for year and years is an effective method to teach them how to live in the society

        1. @mushi You would be correct, sir. Though that's a subject I probably shouldn't discuss in here because it's pretty depthy. I'll just say this: We need MENTAL HEALTH assistance in this country so, so bad...SO bad.

    2. @mushi Would you rather leave him outside so he can cause trouble?

      1. @nerthos Arresting works as a punishmente, but it is in no way a good way to adapt someone to the society life.

        1. @mushi Is it worth the effort to re-adapt criminals?

Saturday, 09-Nov-13 02:44:44 UTC from web
          1. @nerthos well, for violent crimes i do believe it is better to isolate them, but for smaller ones like thefts and so on, i think forcing them into heavilly watched comunitary service would be a lot better

            1. @mushi For theft I'm inclined for damaging sinew in the hands and wrists. Theft requires a great deal of hand dexterity and that can be ruined with minor surgery.

              1. @nerthos that would make them not to commit the crime again, but it wouldnt repay for what they have done

                1. @mushi You just summed up how I feel about the death penalty, generally.

                  1. @clayinthecarpet i think the cops should be allowed to kill the criminals in dangeroussituations, but i dont think courts are flawless enough to make death penalty a good option

                2. @mushi Well you can only steal physical items, and physical items have a value. Making a thief pay money for something it stole is easy. Get the price of the item stolen plus that of any window, padlock or similar item destroyed in the theft, multiply it by five, and demand that sum from the thief as payment. If it can't afford it, sell the thief's organs.

                  1. @nerthos that would work too, it is sure a better way to make him them behave than forcing them to live in a small jail with like 20 people that might be worse than them for years

                    1. @mushi I'm not a fan of modern prisons. Old prisons were better though, with forced labour and all that. Right now prisons are stupid because people have to pay to mantain criminals. How does that make any sense.

                      1. @nerthos forced labour is good. it is a way put them into a good use

                        1. @mushi I like it. Make them work to pay back their debts and to earn their food and roof. If they refuse to work, refuse to feed them.

                          1. @nerthos Why not just make superjail a reality?
