I was out shopping with my mom this weekend, and we walked by a Mustang. She's like, "That's what you need, a pony car! And you can paint it green like Applejack!" Best. Mom. Ever. Even if she didn't know what color AJ was. Ha!

@nightwillow @mrbrown My mother doesn't mind, and my dad inadverdently (sp) found out and apparantley groaned at it, but hasn't said a word as of yet...luckily.

@leonkfox my mom tends to avoid the subject, probably thinking that I'm just doing this for attention or something, and that if she ignores it, it'll go away. My dad pokes fun at me about it all the time

@nightwillow I'd get so kiwied off if my dad did that with me =/ Well, if it were mean spirited anyway. But he's quite homophobic (thinks of himself as a quote en quote "manly man" especially being from up north in Newcastle) so...yeah. Glad he hasn't said a word about it.

@leonkfox Eh, my dad is your stereotypical guy. But he gave up trying to make me into his image a long time ago. He laughs at the cartoons I watch, I laugh at the clothes he wears, and so we're about even.

@leonkfox He's red-green colorblind and tries to use that as an excuse. But that doesn't account for the fact that he wears navy socks with black pants, and vice versa. Or the red, navy, and gold paisley tie he tried to wear to church last week. Or the purple, neon orange, and black tie in his closet that he refuses to get rid of because "it might be in style again someday". Oh Celestia, #why ?!

@mrbrown 2 days later was my Sister's birthday. when I took her birthday present (cupcakes) to her, she just turned around and asked "okay, what's this about My Little Pony?" And she was my first !convert. she was very willing

@mrbrown ah. my dad remarried, and I sometimes wonder what would become of my relationship with my stepmom and stepsister should they divorce (that's not likely though)
