Finally installed my new laptop screen onto my laptop and feeling good! Good evening, everypony! :D

@sonicdash Good evening to you too! How are you doing?
-
@sonicdash Hello, there! Yay, glad you got that working! :)
-
@pinhooves I'm doing pretty good, thanks. Finally back on my laptop. How are you?
-
@astra Hello Astra! Thanks, I was really excited to get it done. :) How are you doing tonight?
-
@sonicdash Pretty great right now. Got some free time, so I'm Livestreaming right now.
-
@pinhooves What are you streaming this time?
-
@sonicdash MotorStorm Apocalypse
-
@sonicdash Yes, I remember that you were looking forward to that coming in so you could get that fixed. Glad it worked! And I'm doing pretty well, albeit tired. Glad it's almost the weekend. How are you doing?
-
@astra can we continue?
-
@pinhooves I forget...were you also streaming that game last time we conversed?
-
@carcino Oh, yes, of course, please. *long silence* Oh, you meant our conversation? Sorry, I get sidetracked. Anyway, "earth dates". Right. Well, do you know what sorts of things she likes?
-
@astra All that waiting paid off. :) Well it is getting late. Did you have another busy day? I'm doing well, thank you. Just trying to stay cool in this rather hot night. How about yourself?
-
@astra bugging me, and Red.
-
@sonicdash I believe so. I do stream other games too.
-
@sonicdash Yes, I know that I was REALLY happy to get my old Macbook back recently. :) Just easy to miss things that become so familiar to you. And, yes, it was a pretty busy day, though not unbearably so. More just a long week overall, and needing to recover from it a bit. I definitely hear you about the heat, though I can imagine that it's even worse by you. I hope that you have good cooling!
-
@pinhooves Ah, okay then. How goes the streaming so far? Now that I'm back on my laptop, I'll subscribe and check out some of your livestreams.
-
@sonicdash It's doing good so far. I could send you a link if you want.
-
@carcino Hmmm. In that case, a nice dinner in an upscale restaurant, in a secluded booth. Preferably with hidden cameras to catch the comedy that will ensue.
-
@astra you think its a joke?
-
@carcino Mmm, well, vote's still out, there. Besides, jokes aren't the only form of comedy. And you're the one who oh-so-seriously summed up her likes as bugging you. :p Surely, she must have other things she likes.
-
@astra Licking me.
-
@carcino Ooooo, well, in THAT case, there are some really nice fondue places with very intimate atmospheres. That can be quite romantic. Or, if you can set things up with a nice fire, low lights, get fondue pots with lots of different cheeses, and perhaps some chocolate . . . a little wine to go with it . . . That could make for a nice, romantic evening.
-
@astra are all Earth dates comprised of food?
-
@mrbrown ludicrous
-
@mrbrown dont wink at me
-
@mrbrown *rolls eyes*
-
@carcino Oh, not all. You could take her to a movie or some other show, or just to a quiet, picturesque vista. Or rock climbing. Don't laugh! Haven't done a rock climbing date, myself -- I am deathly afraid of heights -- but I hear that it can be quite the bonding experience for couples, and all that excitement does get the heart pumping, and the adrenaline going. ;)
-
@astra Are...you trying to get us to fill a pail?
-
@astra I know. It's strange, but that feeling of getting something back that we always use feels amazing, right? :) Yay! Glad to hear you got your Macbook back. :) Well thankfully tomorrow it's Friday (T.G.I.F.) so the weekend is on the way to give you some much needed R&R. Thanks, hopefully it isn't too bad over there with you. I'm getting a reading of 88 degrees here.
-
@pinhooves To your youtube page?
-
@carcino Uhm . . . Afraid that I don't get the reference. Or do you mean that's all that will be left of you if you climb too high and fall off of a mountain. OOH! That reminds me of another non-traditional date, though: sky-diving! :D
-
@astra its a Troll thing.
-
@sonicdash SonicPinhead. Link's in my channel
-
@pinhooves Yup. Got it. Let's see what lies within you page, good sir. >:D
-
@astra I soooo wanna sky-dive.
-
@mrbrown M-hm! Exhilarating for couples to do together, I understand. Though, again, fear of heights dictates that, so long as the engines are working, wings are attached and landing gear is functional, I remain aboard the aircraft until it has come to a complete stop at the gate, and the captain has turned off the "Fasten Seatbelt" light.
-
@sonicdash Oh, not nearly so bad here. It's down to 70 outside now, so it's a lot more comfy than it was earlier. But, yes, as far as getting the old laptop back, it really is rather odd, since I probably could have gotten a new one easily enough. (Though I probably won't get a new Macbook once this one croaks; I haven't liked them since they made it so it takes a tech specialist just to replace the battery, especially after watching the one I got with mine start to swell up after a couple hundred charges.) I just know all of its quirks, though, and its all tuned just the way I want it. :) I can imagine that it's the same for yours. Anyway, yes, very much looking forward to the weekend, and some time with my honey before her schedule changes, and we don't have the same weekend for a while. *pout* So, we'll be making the most of it. :)
-
@carcino Ohhh. In that case, no, I'm not trying to, since I've no idea what it is.
-
@astra its embarrassing, so we wont bring it up
-
@sonicdash Oooo, you can go for it! I'll be going down with the plane. :D Seriously, though, I wish I wasn't so terrified of heights (or, more specifically, the sudden stop at the end of falling, which my mind makes me thing I'm going to do at any moment). I can't even manage a ferris wheel, for crying out loud. :(
-
@astra It is the same with me. :) Well hopefully once it croaks, you can move on to another laptop that won't cause you so much hassle when it needs any kind of maintenance on it. 70 sounds really nice, actually. And the next 5 days it's supposed to be 100+. Fun lol
-
@astra Nah, take my hand and I'll show you what kind of adrenaline rush it brings! :D I was actually afraid of heights, and still kinda am. But the adrenaline junkie in me will overpower that fear. And I forgot to add this to my last post to you. Hopefully you both get to enjoy all the time in the world while you can. :) Who knows? Maybe you'll get more from here on out.
-
@sonicdash Eep! Not an adrenaline junkie. Typical introvert brain make-up: over-sensitive to Dopamine, which adrenaline creates scads of. I'm not even big in scary movies. Sooo ... yeah. You can have my share of adrenaline. :p ;)
-
@sonicdash Just noticed that about the weather by you. Yeah, you're about 20 degrees warmer than us right now. Ugh! I hope that you're keeping cool there!
-
@astra Ah, I see. Okay, you can pilot the plane and I'll meet you at the bottom. ;) Man, if we were to ever hang out, you'd see me want to go on every kind of roller coaster out there. lol Yeah, I just finished washing my car. I was wetting myself constantly to keep cool. 105 right now, but don't worry. I'm about to shower and stay cool :) Hope you're doing well today.
-
@sonicdash Sure, I can do that! :) And some roller coasters I can handle, oddly enough. If the back support comes up at least to the tops of my shoulders, and any upside-down stuff is accompanied by forward motion (i.e. no stalling upside-down in a loop, or hovering at the end of a rail before going backwards), I'm usually good. Anything that misses those criteria, I'll just go get a lemonade and wait for you at the exit ramp. *sweatdrop* :) Anyway, I hope that car wash is the last of your going outside for extended periods until things cool back down. Looks like you live around Fontana? Had to do some work thee for a few weeks in the middle of summer back about 10th years ago. Not pleasant (especially when coming down from the upper Midwest). :p
-
@astra Those roller coasters I love. Fast and high, and I'm in! :) lol I swear sometimes I feel I have too much adrenaline. Then again, I use all that up when I compete. :P I actually do live in Fontana. Thankfully, it is. I'll be going out later with some friends for dinner. We're all saying ciao before he heads out to Italy to finish his studies in Architecture.
-
@sonicdash I'm supposed to start working in fontana.
-
@daisymare Oh really? Where will you be working?
-
@sonicdash I'd rather not say. I'm too weird and don't want haters looking for me.
-
@daisymare Ah, I see. Well haters will hate. :P I understand. But that's pretty cool. Congrats on getting the job (if that's the case of you working here lol).
-
@daisymare Nobody is too weird, take me for example. Haters? There aren't any haters here.
-
@daisymare From Hesperia to Upland? Yeah, that's some drive. Well hopefully this job will help you get by until it starts taking off. What do you usually write on?
-
@sonicdash I write on my iMac and then submit to publishers.
-
@daisymare Do you have a specific genre that you write?
-
@sonicdash Hey, that sounds like a fun night out, then! :) I hope everyone has a good time, then, and that your friend's studies in Italy go well. (Wow, what an incredible place to study architecture!)
-
@astra Thanks :) It's been a while since I went out, so this should be fun reconnecting with old high school friends! :) I'll let him know you wish him the best. Hopefully, I might be able to catch you later tonight. Hope the rest of your day keeps going well. TGIF! :D
-
@sonicdash Eh, I'm not sure that will mean much to him, but if it makes him feel better, by all means! :) And I don't think that I'll be doing more than peeking in tonight, if that much. Getting together with my honey for the weekend, and it's the last chance we'll get to for a while, so we'll be trying to make the most of it. :) If all else fails, though, I'm sure that I'll see you another time soon. :)
