Hey... I'm Fluttershy. I saw this site and made an account. I hope you don't mind...

@zach121k This is awesome. I agree with these.

@zach121k Spam should be dealt with as seen. Not based on 3 tags; unless you're talking with regards to users. Also, if you want to code the additions you named, you're welcome to - otherwise you're just shooting out ideas.

@zach121k Well, spam accounts show up and are dealt with as they appear. Users rarely spam, and that can be dealt with on a case by case (without the approval or support of 3 users furthering the impact of the spam by responding to it). Posts can be removed easily, accounts are more significant though in nature - and there really shouldn't be a need for that around these boards. A silence can suffice in most instances. Everything else you mentioned were server side changes, which would have to be worked into the system (which StatusNet is apparently not all that great to work with - or supportive). Again, if you want to write them up - go for it. Otherwise, don't expect much. You want IP filtering, post maintenance, third-party block features, etc, etc.

@zach121k Miniature Roleplay ~ Already happens. // Spam Posts ~ Already discussed. // Meetups ~ You're asking for another site, basically what RP was to the original back in the day. That'd require more server power, the establishment of another website, the maintenance of such website, etc // Block Function ~ Already discussed. // Moderators working on spam ~ Already happens. Though the idea is that you don't notice.. I usually hit posts within the first few seconds they arrive if they're worth nuking. // NSFW filtering ~ More coding involved. Unless you want me to add something to rdnrefresh that just removes posts with that tag -.- ~ It wouldn't be server-side, but it'd be something. // IP Filtering ~ More Server stuff. // Spam Detection ~ More Server. //// So as you can see, there really wasn't anything else. Beyond this, you're trying to implement rules on a site you have no authority on, and the rules you are proposing already are in place as a general understanding.
