@diciestryan Also keep an eye out for Shopko and Toys-R-Us. They sometimes have card tins and collectible boxes like the Fluttershy one

@diciestryan If they offer them on hot topic's site then you wouldn't have to pay too much shipping since you live in the U.S. I don't see them available now unfortunately.

@diciestryan there are 2 gold Celestias and series 1 is hard to find (and better looking imo). Good luck with getting rares! I was really happy when the very first pack I ever opened contained gold Luna.

@diciestryan yeah, and you'd need to get 2 boxes to have any hope of completing a set. If you find gold foils though, those sell/trade for a lot. You could earn your money back if you were motivated and used ebay.

@diciestryan I calculated that the Hot Topic and Walmart tins come with about as many cards as you get in boosters, plus you get the tin and the exclusive foil.

@diciestryan Actually, the tins are a really good deal. I don't think they come with any gold foils though so that's a drawback. I think the Fluttershy tin comes with series 2 cards. Are you aiming for a complete collection of series 1 or 2 or just whatever cool cards you can get and enjoy?

@diciestryan If you need many of the common cards and parallel foils then booster packs are really good. If you have most already and don't want to pay for the gamble of a booster then Amazon.com is good. Or I'll sell them to you for less than Amazon price if I have them.

@diciestryan I love those. I have all but the gold foils, various con cards, and a few others. My friend hooked me up with a really nice google doc he made that I use to keep track of my collection. If you're interested in knowing what extras I have to sell and what I need I'll link you to it

@diciestryan Yeah, HT is pretty much the only place to get pony other than FYE or TRU.
