@drewdle Could you give this a shot? I was importing the jQuery library, then I just decided to change a few variable names and it seems to work fine on Firefox 5... http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/105287

@drewdle i use chrome almost exclusively, it loads tables really fast. If you work in web based php databases you can tell a huge difference between it and every other browser
-
@drewdle But... er... oh never mind, I just don't know what you're talking about :P
-
@drewdle I was just reading online about Firefox jQuery errors - and that seems to be the most common problem with Greasemonkey. Soo, we'll see what happens ~ if worst comes to worst, I'll just embed the full jQuery library in the script and hopefully that'll do it.

@drewdle Mmkay, so it seems that Firefox wants to run a native 1.4.4 jQuery on the page, instead of the 1.3.2 that runs on Chrome. Greasemonkey apparently doesn't fully support 1.4.4 so I'm working on a hack to degrade the version just for this page q.q

@drewdle CUPCAKES!!! *TAKES ALL* NOM NOM NOM

@drewdle Stawff! I need to take a break from the RP every now and then.
-
@drewdle Yeah that's what's confusing me honestly lol ~ The site uses jQuery already so I was just piggy-backing off that.

@drewdle seems with linux so much is broken, like packages making you compile them manually, or packages not being found in apt-get, or dependency requirements stopping things from working, i wish it were more userfriendly, or that some company would develop a finished product. I'd gladly pay for a linux distro if it were actually good
-
@drewdle That was when they updated it I believe. Not sure though.

@drewdle Yeah that'd be something I started relying on haha
-
@drewdle Mmkay, I just hopped on firefox and I'm getting that jQuery is not defined. I'll rewrite a few things and see what I can get working.

@drewdle CTRL+SHIFT+J

@drewdle Hmm, What browser are you using?

@drewdle Alright - lemme see if there's a loop hole in there somewhere. Would you happen to be able to bring up the console and see if it's reporting any issues? On Chrome that's Ctrl Shift J

@drewdle Wait for the highlighted box to disapear, you know the one that shows new replies once it refreshes? I don't know why, but if it's on the screen it will force you to a new page.

@drewdle Ahh - yeah that was one of the issues I ran into initially. I had to rewrite the whole reply button script. Does it put information in the text box at all before it changes the page?
-
@drewdle i like linux except that so much of it is unperfected. If the distros were backwards compatible it would be a lot more useful to me
-
@drewdle Good that you see.
-
@drewdle ahh I see. I've been setting it to 7.
-
@drewdle I'm not talking about Windows 7. 7 for RDN refresh.
-
@drewdle Why not ubuntu? What's the difference? I've been meaning to do it, but I've been so lazy lately. Last time I used ubuntu, I ran out of space.
-
@drewdle Penguins? HP Windows Vista. With only google chrome open, it reports about 3/4 usage of memory.
-
@drewdle The transdimensional tunnel that allows services like YouTube and Google to be reachable in Equestria must be destabilizing again. I'll get to work on that.
-
@drewdle I literally went around on my first day as a brony finding as many backgrounds as possible.

@drewdle If you are using the RDNRefresh, wait for the yellow box to disappear when someone makes a new comment. I don't know why, but it makes you write a reply on a new page. If you don't have RDNRefresh, no idea.
