I feel both annoyance and a sort of nostalgic sorrow at the little kids on here who get "depressed" about things like school. It's like, on the one hand, they've got no concept of actual hardship or sorrow, but on the other, that's kind of a nice sort of innocence too.

@trister I tend to prioritise the wellbeing of people whom I know exist over following the dictats of a hypothetical superbeing. @cabal Not this again... We've had our ups and downs over the past months, but as a whole we are still strong. Even if we have slid, there's still more community here than a hay of a lot of other places. It's a new year, and it's time to stop looking back at how "everything used to be better" for the hundredth time and look upward and onward.
