                • Requesting *specific* bullet point list of what constitutes the "PG-13" rule. Judging from the cases it has been brought up, it's being touted more as a "no swearing" policy than a no-questionable-content rule. Details are good for clearing up ambiguity, otherwise the rule is darn near useless. Also, if it is to be upheld, it should probably be mentioned in the ToS. I've said this twice before to no response, and I'm not sure if I'm being ignored because I'm usually silly, or if these statements have not been received at all. Similar to what happened when I wrote the tweak to have new registrations default to joining the !notices group to make the group a more useful tool.

                  • !notice There's a new pony game on Hubworld. I do not recommend playing it (or if you do, do not complete the final three puzzles) unless you want to spoil the endings for the remaining episodes. On the other hand, it has this really nice version of the series intro music when you start the game that I don't recall hearing before. If someone can get an MP3 of that, let me know. !c

                    • !notices TrollHD has the 2GB 1080i dump of Call of the Cutie up on alt.binaries.hdtv if anyone cares. Mentos seems to have overlooked it, so I wouldn't expect to see his usual re-encodes up on Sharing is Magic for at least a day or two.

                    • Just wrote up a hack-ish tweak for the Status.Net User class to automatically put new registering users into a group based on its ID number. My PHP skills aren't the hottest, so if anypony would check it / improve it, that'ld be nice. It should be functional as is, though. http://retl.info/extra/pony/RDN/defaultgroupsnippet.zip (Zip contains snippet and example.) !notice !techponies http://is.gd/LUslGX

                      • Is there a way to map # to !notice? I'm not sure if the lack of use of !news is due to people not knowing the group exists, or because # is slightly more intuitive of a tag to think of.
