@iheartfornax @dopeyshrove They did indeed, in 2001! I was too young then, and the census only comes 'round every 10 years. There was also a campaign to get "marijuana" listed as a religion this year. I don't think that one was very well thought-out.

@mithent Probably not. It sounds fun enough and I love its setting and charity involvement, but I sense a brony/FiM-specific get-together would be less costly... The con seems to cover the whole spectrum of MLP generations. Not a bad thing at all, but my interest at the mo is pretty much FiM only XD

@mithent I'm so glad I'm not the only one to call it the pink aisle! I think on the plus side, it will be Summer, so I'll no longer be hanging in toy aisles wearing my ever-present trenchcoat.

I've been a die-hard TF fan all my life and never batted an eyelid at MLP, so if somepony had told me a year ago that I'd be geeking out over ponies and not even paying attention to big stompy robots, I'd have laughed in their faces. And yet, here I am. That's how awesome this show is! :D Completely took me off-guard! #twitchytail
