@kadziet I am not sure in Ubuntu, but its sounds right. how ever, its a good idee you get up-to-date, and maybe this can solve also the problem

@kadziet search for possible problem, hmm, however, when you not know what to look for, its hard to explane, hmm, do you know, how to install a program in ubuntu?

@kadziet is your ubuntu up-to-date? and since when you got thoes craches? and did you canched somthing before the craches starting?

@kadziet There is many text, however, with Ctrl + F you can search for errors, kernel panic, and so on, to find a the problem, (if there a log of it)

@kadziet On the left site, you got Xorg.0.log, auth.log, dpkg.log, mail.log and syslog. Got to syslog (open it)

@kadziet So then you will find the Log viewer on your Ubuntu :-) Start it

@kadziet Terminal is like bash, xterm etc. just run the command: terminal, then a terminal window comes up

@kadziet oh, or better, look on: /var/log/kern.log its more information about crash

@kadziet I see, a Acer, hmm, well, it's strange you cant install it on the harddrive, however, I know there sometimes problem with the ACPI on some Computers/Laptop, what makes trouble when you install Linux....

@kadziet Because my Chrome often crashes RDN's tab and I have to restart the browser. I was wondering if it was just a simple restart fix.

@kadziet Well, is your Laptop case hot, or is the cpu fan turning fast? or is it the harddrive its faling (klick noises, etc.)

@kadziet however, there are many log files, but, try to type in a terminal: dmesg this shows you maybe already a lot....

@kadziet Logfiles, they telling you, what went wrong, or what all happend. Ubuntu, nice, a debian dist. very good :-) You got the logfiles unter: /var/logs/ there you may find the problem

I like how @kadziet has a picture of RD with each dash. Adds a sort of uniqueness to his dashes.
