@loveydoe yeah I phrased that poorly. While a lot of shipping is "these two characters look cute", the criticisms that come after that phrase were specific to the poorly written fan service I was criticizing, not all shipping.

@loveydoe In our defense, you did say that 'shipping is all about "these two characters look cute", so the writer will go OOC and put the characters in dumb situations JUST so the two pastel horses can the kiss.'. You seemed to be speaking broadly about all shipping, but now I understand that you weren't.

@loveydoe I understand that there are good romance stories. What I'm saying is that with shipping, they make the romance drive the plot, instead of the other way around. If that makes any sense. @dashalicious Oh @loveydoe Um.. southern and I think the term is "Ornamental" but I think that is an outdated and bad term to use correct?
