Sunday evening is probably a very peaceful and quiet time, but still there is many people on the street even a 10pm.

We just arrived at 9pm, dropped the luggage and went out, really nice at this time. Still many people on the street, were I took that picture there were just two or three couples sitting on a wall, somewhere on the illuminated street there was a musician playing some electric guitar, it wasn't very loud as the musician was 200 m away, so really nice there. -
@utzer awesome, considering it's February…! Romans are so lucky. La dolce vita… Although in summer it may be a bit hot…

Was Michael Richter ins bayerische Exil trieb und die Flüchtlinge zum Messer greifen ließ, ist letztlich das Schweigen der Anderen, das Fehlen einer Zivilgesellschaft, die ihrem Namen gerecht wird. Bereits ein paar Tage vor der antifaschistischen Kundgebung gab es eine Versammlung in Wurzen – jedoch nicht gegen Rassismus, sondern für die verletzten Rassisten. Lokale Medien und Politiker verhandeln den Komplex meist bloß als Image- und nicht etwa als Rassismusproblem.

@lilletale Probably quite large (you are in Norway aren't you?). The !raspberry 3 has some 5Volts and 1-2 (-3?) Amps power consumption.

I've been trying to copy a single 4TiB ZFS dataset between 2 machines for > 1week now.
On dedicated 1Gb/s network with jumbo frames it takes ~ 20 hours over SSH ... however SSH keeps dying after ~ 12 hours with "Broken Pipe" :-(-
@mcscx everything in ZFS is checksummed. https://blogs.oracle.com/bonwick/zfs-end-to-end-data-integrity but if it fails to import, at least I might be able to work out where the failure happened.

It's imported! woot...
now can send incremental snapshots; just the daily diffs. Life gets easier!
