    • @ponydude2143 Yes, totally agree with you. Though the programs I'm talking about don't really have alternatives. I use Catia, MatLab, and a host of other CFD and FEA programs (yay acronyms!!)

    • Are my ears deceiving me, or am I actually hearing an owl? I don't think I've ever heard one for all the 14 years I've lived here.

      • Back to the pad. I know that they have there uses, but for what they are, the are outrageously over priced and the iPad is by far the most guilty of this. Though that's just because apple can sell anything. If you break down the components of the average Apple product into just the the cost of materials and labor, you're looking at well over a 60% and almost 70% discount in price. I believe the iPod touch is made for about 50 ish (USD) and is currently sold for roughly $300

        • Hmm well not to but in on anything, but personally I've always seen the iPad as a kinda useless (for me anyway). In fact the only apple product I do like is the iPod. I've never actually got the whole pad thing in general, I use the crap out of my smart phone and it can do everything a pad can do plus fit in my pocket. As for what OS i run, I have a windows phone (mangoes are healthier than ice cream haha). I know i'm kinda jumpin in here, but i love a good tech debate

        • Yay~~ first post! How have I not had an account here already?.. Anyhooves, I'm NimbusBuster, nice to meet you! At the moment I'm working on a site called bronychan.org that functions as a community calendar for IRL events happening across the fandom. I scour the interwebs in seach of events and organize them for everypony to see.
