  1. @greydragon412 I imagine not. I hope you weren't hurt? And how did that go down in Ponyville?

  2. @frostieblizzard An important decision indeed! :) Don't rush it.

  3. @pinhooves Don't let your hooves kill your stool!

Sunday, 18-Dec-11 11:32:59 UTC from web in context
  4. @frostieblizzard I could (and have) spent hours with that thing and with earlier incarnations.

  5. @frostieblizzard I'm gonna agree with you there. I'm not a big 'joiner', but it was that, and the generally good attitude that seems to prevail, that drew me into the community, as it were. So, of course, the next question has to be whether you've created a character.

  6. @scribus Stay classy, Ron!

  7. @scribus You're not the first person I've heard say that about "Eaters". Strangely, I really enjoyed that book. However, I also liked "Moby Dick", so there's probably something wrong with my brain.

  8. @frostieblizzard Bingo bango bongo. The music that comes from some of these people is amazing, innit? Whenever I see what people are capable of doing, simply for the joy of doing it, it refreshes my faith in humanity.

  9. @abigpony YES

  10. @scribus Although he was clearly a mouthpiece for Mr. Chrichton, who I strongly disagree with on a number of points, he remains one of my favorite characters, and that remains one of my favorite books.

  11. @greydragon412 Yeah, that was in the news, but they weren't able to go into much detail, for obvious reasons. Mind sharing a bit about that collapse?

  12. @frostieblizzard Yep. My re-introduction to coffee was a quad-shot mocha from Starbucks. It really wasn't fair of my "friends" to do that to me. I didn't sleep for 24 hours. Wow. So howdja end up here?

Sunday, 18-Dec-11 11:19:07 UTC from web in context
  13. @tenmihara @scribus "Yeah, but you were so preoccupied with whether or not you could, you didn't stop to think if you should!"

  15. @greydragon412 Which is a little unusual given the tenor of the current administration. So, I have it in my notes here, but it'd be cheating--tell us a little about what's taking you all over the place lately.

  16. @frostieblizzard A friend compared *me* to Pinkie Pie! I've also been compared the the caffeinated Hammy, from "Over the Hedge." Sounds like you identify with it more than I'm able to. I don't really see it in myself. I think I'm more like Walter from "The Big Lebowski", but whatevs.

Sunday, 18-Dec-11 11:13:15 UTC from web in context
  17. @scribus That didn't stop ME.

  18. @djtized DJ!

  19. @frostieblizzard I get the same question. A lot. Well, nowadays people ask me for directions a lot, but that may be because I haven't been to a rave or a club in way too long. I used to always have people come up to me and ask for X. :) So I totally understand. Well, I can imagine why you like ponies, if that's your basic personality type.

  20. @abigpony Oh, it's this old thing about cultural expectations. You sometimes find references to it about the old west. "When the men were men and the women were women" like, they fit right in to the stereotypes one might have about such roles.

  21. @greydragon412 Well, of course we have a few ideas, but as our guest we thought we'd leave it up to you. Now, I know you've been very busy lately, visiting Manehattan, Canterlot, and I understand you were just in Stalliongrad?

Sunday, 18-Dec-11 11:06:25 UTC from web in context
  22. @frostieblizzard Man, are you one of those people who gets asked, as a sincere question, where they can buy various forms of drugs, or what they've been drinking?

Sunday, 18-Dec-11 11:04:46 UTC from web in context
  23. @greydragon412 Hola! Thanks for joining us on the show.

  24. @scribus WHY NOT

Sunday, 18-Dec-11 11:03:06 UTC from web in context
  25. @abigpony Nope. Just an old saying, like, 1800s old, which I was sort of making fun of. "Where the men are men and the women are women", y'know. I mean, I know what they mean, but of course they are! A thing is always equal to itself, cultural expectations notwithstanding.

  26. @abigpony Ooh...okay. :( (sniff)

Sunday, 18-Dec-11 11:01:25 UTC from web in context
  27. @frostieblizzard Doing good. Watched the latest episode, staying warm inside and beating the living heck out of some viruses that were foolish enough to set up shopkeeping in my lungs. Love the expression on your avatar. Looks like he(?)'s about to die from joy.

  28. @scribus Pics or it didn't happen.

Sunday, 18-Dec-11 10:59:18 UTC from web in context
  29. @abigpony So you're saying that here, A=ponies?

Sunday, 18-Dec-11 10:58:49 UTC from web in context
  30. @abigpony That's not a good question. Everyone loves @pinhooves. It's like asking if water is wet.
