  1. @rapidash It does. I'd have a strong horse and a fast horse. And lots of tools in the workshop, including a forge and a lathe.

  2. @rapidash No. Maybe two horses? And a couple of cats. But I wouldn't like to take care of many animals. I'd rather have a big, tranquil place with a solid structure in which to store stuff and keep a big collection of books. With a workshop in the back to spend afternoons working in projects.

  3. @rapidash Side of a mountain sounds actually amazing. I'd buy a pretty big piece of land, since in non-urban areas they are usually cheap, and practice archery and other such activities.

  4. @rapidash I'd love to place it in a somewhat remote place. A couple kilometers away from any highly-urbanized area.

  5. @rapidash If you keep it somewhat small, it shouldn't be too hard. Time consuming? Yes. But possible. I personally want a stone home. Something to last for the ages.

  10. @rapidash Yes. The reason my dad decided for a tin roof was because of how good it sounds when there's rain.

  12. @rapidash Have you ever heard rain from a bed in a room with a tin roof?

  13. @rapidash Man I love lightning. There was some rain today here, but I missed it since I was sleeping.

  17. @rapidash 451 is the temperature at which books burn. The protagonist is a professional fireman. His job is to go around and extinguish all of the flame-wars by burning whole libraries in a systematic and safe fashion. It is a terrible book and should be banned. Point of note: Paper actually burns at 451 degrees Celsius. 100C is 212F. 0C is 32F. 451 times 1.8 plus 32 is 843.8 degrees of Fahrenheit. It would seem that either the author was stupid, or he is a troll.

  29. @rapidash Brilliant. The fic you recommended was of good enough length and quality to completely dispel the taint. Thanks a lot for the recommendation.
