Big news, !SoCal and *especially* !LAbronies - Saturday, May 12th from 12-3pm at the Silent Movie Theater in Hollywood, there will be a MLP:FiM screening... AND panel with the voice actors! http://derpy.me/NBjFc The SMT doesn't have any info on their site, and the Meetup page is likewise lacking, but it's been announced and I'm echoing it here. (Don't blame me if things go awry)

Happy New Years everypony. My biggest hope for 2012 is for this fandom to keep growing. Some may say "this brony thing is just a fad", but I know if we keep growing we can show those people that we are more then that. We are a community and love and tolerance are our way. @katdjtized @pinhooves Its not so much the music that I find annoying, its the fact that this time of year you should see the best in people but you only see the worst. Its sad really. At least there is only a few more weeks lefts and then it will be over.

@shadownightbolt Hey there! Mod from the !SoCal Bronies group (formerly Bronies-LA) letting you know that we actually have a lot of folks in our group from the Inland Empire! While the group was originally created to connect the LA area, it's expanded to all of Southern California. If you want, you can sign up and suggest a meetup for you guys out there. Also, you'll be able to reach a lot more people through the site (we've currently got 188 members, 2nd largest group so far). Our goal right now is to aggregate every brony in Southern California onto one platform of communication. While running your own facebook group is fine and encouraged, what we're trying to do is unite everyone in SoCal under one banner so that communicating meets, ideas and hopefully forming new friendships is even easier. While you don't have to join, I would strongly recommend it. Hope to see you at a meet!

I just want to let everypony know that after much convincing by my friends I have started a meet up for Bronies in the Inland Empire of california. I know theres a group in LA but I for one cant really get out there. So this group is for those who are in the same boat as I am. I hope to start meet ups some time in January. @purplephish20 Im not sure why they wont promote me. Ive been there for over 3 years and have done nothing but work my grapes off. Maybe its because I dont have a degree, but I dont think that should matter too much. I was management at my last job so Ive got the experience. Maybe they just dont like me. I dont know. Once the holidays are over Im going to look for another job. If they wont promote me then their loss.
