So, back in Groningen: went to my Grunnegs Proaten course first (lugging heavy luggage, not my course book), then caught the bus home, then unpacked everything and rescued a stack of papers that had gone wet. :( Now it's time for a !beer and a bit of music. :)

@mk my final analysis is that the 'unreadable' symlinks resulted from a series of botched updates of sasl2. If I remove them there is still a directory with the sasl2 files left, identical to those on the host system. That insight only took most of the day to reach. :) I declare !beer o'clock now! :-D

I make my spicy cheese pancakes with !beer for the batter. :) Come to think of it, about time I made them again...

ok, time for something to eat (aka "dinner"). I think bread, cheese, and some !beer will do nicely. No more computery stuff today, anyway.
