yay! I downloaded and installed the latest version of ExifTool - I'd never before installed a Perl program on any #linux version, but instructions by Phil Harvey on http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/install.html are excellent (I got an error message at first but guessed correctly I had to install perl-ExtUtils-MakeMaker first). Finally I copied the script over that included with XnView so it will be able to use the latest version as well. That's another major step forward for my #photoediting toolbox! Now #celebrating with a nice Leffe Bruin !photography !beer :D

completely separate navbar areas from content (instead of including them in content), solved some hairy problems, and further tweaked appearance of pagination bar. time to implement some #HTML5 <section>s and a <main> for the content. first, a !beer - I think I deserve one now :) #theme #hacking #piwigo
