@mcscx Still easy to disable the blocklist. If companies want to pay for getting on the whitelist, fine by me. They're still not getting through to me or anyone I configure #adblockplus for .]
The main reason I don't use µBlock Origin is because it bugs out with #NoScript because of some weird font crap. -
I hope that this nasty #Cryptocurrency mining #Javascript trend at least serves to educate more people on why #NoScript is important.

"Disable adblockers in order to access this page." Dang, ok. *Page loads, ads are still blocked due to #NoScript -> Pyrrhic victory :D

New #NoScript addon offers full multi-process Firefox (e10s) compatibility! https://is.gd/8Ut4Y9

@lnxw48 @strypey #IceCat (and presumably #Firefox) has a setting to disallow that behaviour: "Edit, Preferences, Content, Enable Javascript Advanced, Disable or replace context menus" (uncheck to prevent sites from disabling copy'n'paste). But #NoScript is a better solution.

@kat I dislike the fact that website content is delivered in a manner that requires a virtual machine running the source code and often even some human interaction. I very much prefer my web content to be available statically.
If the site provides javascript as a layer on top of statically available content, I don't care. But if I'm left out because of #NoScript, it's not something I want to take part of. -

#NoScript continues to entertain. '<div class="nojs">Javascript must be enabled for the [sic] correct page display.</div>' says one page. Tho <div class="nojs"> is redundant in a <noscript> element. Why they escaped the angle brackets as HTML entities will keep me awake tonight.

@moshpirit Unless "Disconnect" (don't know what that is) rejects third party resource requests, you probably want RequestPolicy Continued too (or just the original #RequestPolicy): https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/requestpolicy-continued/
I use that, #NoScript, #HTTPSEverywhere and #PrivacyBadger. -
Several months with #NoScript has been an eye-opener. Delivering the requested resource should not depend on a layer of client side code on top of HTTP.

@goatsing indeed I had to permit some otherwise blocked stuff with #NoScript & #RequestPolicy. How do I find out if JS is non-free/obfuscated

When the #NoScript list of external Javascript sources on a page is longer than my screen, I don't like this page. http://t.co/mBSX2z6pRV
