Para mi la (presunta) comunidad de !gnusocial la formamos todas. Tanto las personas que desarrollan y mantienen como las que lo utilizamos.

La respuesta rápida a la pregunta de dónde están las personas que desarrollan (y mantienen) es el canal #social de Freenode en el IRC. Que tiene su puente a la sala xmpp:gnusocial@conference.bka.li
No obstante, como es más o menos conocido ni la persona que lo desarrollaba ni la que lo mantiene/mantenía disponen de tiempo y/o fuerzas en este momento para continuarlo.
Es el problema de que tengamos tan pocas personas dedicadas a trabajar para tantas otras.

En el lado positivo, este verano @up201705417 y @dansup van a implementar #ActivityPub en #gnusocial.
Y a mi lo que más me esperanza del proyecto no es la posibilidad de ampliar la federación, que también, sino el hecho de que para ello se tendrán que desbloquear algunas cosas y puede que sea el principio de algo más a largo plazo.

En los #hacklabs existe siempre el eterno debate entre los/las más #tech y los/las más #social . Un debate que desde #ingoberlab #301 creo es recurrente y presente aunque ya superado.

Desde mi punto de vista personal creo que el debate es #aburrirnos 

Disponemos de espacios para hacer #larevolución y el mismo sirve para #prepararnosparalarevolución (espacios 24/7) . Un #hackerspace es una cosa, un #hacklab otra muy distinta. Pero ... un #hacklab puede ser y es un #hackerspace, ... cosa que un #hackerspace nunca podrá ser ya que son lo que es el #opensource VS #SOFTWARE_LIBRE

No nos engañemos, tenemos que infectar y hacerlo bien. La primera parte de todo proyecto es de campo, anaizar como anda la cosa .

El tiempo es YA. Es ahora. Sin software libre no existirá revolución.

La web 1.0 eran los/las webmasters. La 2.0 tu llenas el contenido. La 3.0 es  LA AUTOGESITÓN . Hacia eso se ha de caminar . Descentralizar para mayor resistencia a la censura por ejemplo.
