@mcscx I'm also running into problems when joining certain groups though not with that message (but the UI may hide the message, of course). Could be a StatusNet«-»GNU Social incompatibility or even incompatibilities between different GS versions/implementations. Maybe combined with other factors. Fact is, I cannot join the #tea group.

I really like this Rooibos & cinnamon #tea - now if only I knew where to buy it... the nearly-finished packet was a gift, long ago

@chalkahlom o - mine is long ago already: time for a second glass of #tea!
-
in other news: I managed to drink my first glass of #tea without spilling a drop!
-
and again, chucked #tea all over my desk (this time with the keyboard the main victim). I am Champion Chai Chucker!

after a lot of sorting and puzzling and trying to fit things, I've managed to pack all my #tea in 9 boxes: 3 large cardboard boxes for tea in unopened packages and tins; 3 large metal boxes for (mostly) opened packages; and 3 mediam plastic boxes for mostly open packages. The large boxes are on a shelf in the room, the plastic boxes find a place next to the spices cabinet. I'll try to post pictures #tomorrow :) (feel free to remind me!)

@vanden maybe 15-20 years. I did find some packets that had had an invasion of a kind of moths - even though they were in a tightly closed box and some even still in the cellophane wrapping - must have already been eggs inside the package! So I threw those out. But most stays good enough if kept in a tightly closed container, preferably in the dark. It may lose a little 'strength', but very little. My problem is I want to replace one (largish) box, and I got a load of extra #tea from my dad. Bought metal boxes yesterday (now I have three) and some tea comes in their own metal boxes; I al;so have cardboard boxes but that will only be good for new cellophane-wrapped boxes. Still not enough!

@luke to give just an impression, this is most of my collection of #herbal #tea, dug up from two different hard-to-reach spots. (So I often bought some in a special offer because I no longer knew what I already had! This has got to change...) http://oracle.skilledtests.com/attachment/79446

I have been creating "space" from "air" (using foldable boxes and IKEA tins) - now I can start organizing all my #tea, but before that I need another glass of tea! :) good morning guten morgen bonjour bom dia buon giorno suba udesanak wewa jó reggelt tere hommikust bonan matenon (etc.) !tzag !fediverse !fediverso

I think I'll treat myself to another trip to Ikea for another set (or maybe two!) of these tins: http://www.ikea.com/nl/nl/catalog/products/80251301/ : I need more storage for all my #tea (I inherited quite a lot from my dad, too!)
