The scared, put-off #identi.ca users could just look out for other communities, software (like #statusnet or #friendica), not sure if it's only "laziness" or the lost #trust (in #opensource run things). #otoh each one of us can do more PR for such communities/software: the failure to do that helps in the end big silos like #twitter (not sure if comparing it to the elections is a good analogy: people who do #not vote will get hurt in the end)
