@thelastgherkin But... When they do have romantic situations like Rarity (& Spike) & Prince Blue whatever, it is being rather hetero-normative, and it would be good to see a bit of counterbalance. We're supposed to tolerate and love ALL the ponies, not just the ones that have mismatching sets of sex determinative chromosomes. So they should have something. Maybe a Mrs & Mrs Flower shop owners, to counterbalance Mr & Mrs Cake.

@thelastgherkin In reference to the Sesame Street thing, I think some of their points is just to not bring up sexuality at all. Which can/could lead to awkward moments, but then there's the Christian right taking prepubescent girls to purity pledges, and fathers taking daughters on 'dates'. That's some messed up sexual psychology cocktails (pun intended) to force on kids.

@pinhooves Confound...something something... They do have a power though. I know the community is part of it, but no other show has had this effect on me before. It's awesome, in most of its meanings. Damn I want DVD extras :)

Oh, and just out of curiousity, I watched 'Winter Wrap-Up' yet again, and am still wondering why I haven't stumbled upon a meme pointing out Twilight Sparkle waking up way before any-pony, but still being late to the announcements. Also, getting all fancied up in her scarf and saddle (which just raises a lot of odd questions, since there are no humans), and then showing up au naturel. Am I the only pony that thought that was a bit odd?

So, what does everypony think will happen next episode? Is Spike going to be on the run from Dashie? Rarity furtively glancing at a polaroid of Tom? Or will it be a complete break and not reference the opener at all?

@pinhooves Yeah, everything before, what was it, noon, or 2pm, was just hella nuts. It's weird changing weekend schedules to try and be awake as early as possible on Saturdays. It used to be the opposite.

Hello, Vancouver Bronies. Rainbow Dash might live in our fair city, but I don't think she works here much, considering the clouds that hang around for more than 10 seconds flat. Not much to say, just awake later than I should be, with a bit of Jameson's, and felt I should reach out and see what some BC bronies are up to.
