  2. @vampixxkitty Well, I gather from your profile, what we talked, your name and the importance you give to a proper introduction that you are indeed Japanese. It's a pleasure to meet you. Since I barely use my birth name, just call me Nerthos. If you feel a real introdçuction is needed, my birth name is Daniel.

  6. @vampixxkitty The Japanese culture is pretty strange in that regard. I like it tough, it's one of my favourites. Their language fits them, I think. It's really easy and efficient in concept, but really hard to remember completely due to thousands of small things, be it kanjis or context-sensitive rules.

  9. @vampixxkitty i know, they use katakana for englishaztion and onomatopeyas. And yes, by the end of the high school, the poor japanese people need to knowat least about 2000 abligatory kanjis

  10. @vampixxkitty I think it was based on the career you took or something like that. At least that's what I gathered from a Japanese teacher I had at high school. I hate ideogram based languages. They're perfect for whoever creates them, then fine for the second generation, and so on... and after a couple centuries they just don't make sense at all.

  12. @vampixxkitty my teacher said that, once you know kanji, that ios better to read than katakana and hiragana because it makes the sentences shorter.

  13. @vampixxkitty Not to mention there's many kanjis for the same word.
