A Czech game studio named "Warehorse Studios" is developing an RPG based on the CryEngine 3 engine. The members of that said studio worked on Mafia, Mafia 2, Operation Flashpoint, and Armed Assault. It's gonna be good and it is already looking very sweet http://is.gd/HEw4kb !vgp

@adorable Let's just say I can do basic admin stuff, but even I find LFS hard to compile because I had to hunt down every damn dependency on the internet for the ingredient, plus whatever dependency it needed to run that dependency!

@cabal Huh. I've been following the project on and off for quite a while now, and I don't recall the dependencies ever not being catalogued in full, but depending on how old you are (I won't ask if you don't want to say~) that probably doesn't date back as far as you're talking about. That... euch, that would've been unpleasant, but fortunately it certainly isn't a problem with current (B)LfS revisions. :)

@cabal Huh. That'd be... pretty much the same time I started following it. Maybe after, if anything (started following in '06, and given we're about a year apart, that'd mean you were either 16 or 17 then, slap-bang in the middle of that time period). Now I'm just confused.

@redenchilada In the past. I don't feel it's that way any longer. It was basically lawless. And to be fair, we ruled ourselves without any help from over here, especially when Tinker was in charge. Cabal didn't like us that much either. Basically, each side has it's positives and negatives, but when you say things about us and believe the whinings of people who can't follow simple rules, spoken or unspoken, (as if we're unfair) you're asking for unsightly comebacks.

@fialvert I'm not saying they're right. I didn't have any negative opinions of you guys until you all jumped on one person's back over the whole thing. All I know of you guys is the little bits I see from occasionally looking at the place, and I realize what I see isn't enough to form a proper opinion. And quite frankly, it doesn't matter to me; RP is something I'm not seriously interested in, and so I leave that half alone for the most part. I just don't like seeing the bickering going both ways.
