@adiwan It’s to be expected, honestly. The US outlawed slavery long before most modern American companies got their start, and the ones that do go back that long are from New England which was less reliant on slave labor than other places, I’m sure if like Coca Cola existed in 1830 I’d be able to point at them and go “hey this company owned slaves”

Dr. Bees. Opted not to use the original artwork from the cartoon because Harry drew the lines very thin in this cartoon & it didn’t read well when shrunk down to emoji size, so I basically traced over it with a much thicker brush & modified the face, exaggerated the size of certain features, etc. to keep it readable on mobile devices. http://rainbowdash.net/url/876087

I think I can remove the idea out of my head to get a proper keyboard smartphone ever again. I guess the next upgrade will be a soulless slab. I guess also it'll be a Google Pixel or similar with a reasonably good outlook for software updates.

@scribus I believe that I'll be quite unhappy with a phone from a niche manufacturer. TCL's Blackberry phones are the minimum quality I expect and that one does not fill me with confidence. Also I don't want a fold-out keyboard. At max I can live with a slider style or whatever the HTC Desire Z was.

@adiwan Yeah, failing a better solution I've side-eyed a KeyTWO, new-old-stock. Sliding horizontal keyboard is probably still my favorite, I had an old LG (Ally?) that did that.
