@scribus Haha. For this one-off it took me about 8 hours. As a fresh owner of a house there is much to do to fix up this old clunker. I also got this same suggestion from my friends to make this as a side hustle. But to be honest: I rather invest the time to make something for my friends than for complete strangers.

I'm somewhat mad that the battery of my DSLR died. Before I wanted to use it I put the battery into the charger. Just as I wanted to snap my first shot the camera shut off with a low battery warning.

The first season of the live-action ATLA series is certainly rushed in some parts. For what it is, it's OK. From what I get is, that it is barely standing on its own, however it is a great companion-piece to the animated series.

Had to get a new phone number due to many frustrating circumstances that caused me to lose access to the old one, but then I got the old one back, so now I have two phone numbers like some kind of drug dealer. My new number belonged to some old lady that gave her number out to literally everyone and everything so the new number’s gotta go. I’ve been getting spam calls and texts nonstop all day.

@zeldatra I got landline phone numbers with my Internet contract and once in a while I receive calls from random people thinking it belongs to a garage shop. It happens only a couple times a year.

Having a proper hot melt glue gun is great. I cannot say it enough. I was attaching 30 magnets with a huge hot blob of glue to the Unown tiles I crafted out of polymer clay. I need to get my old Canon EOS/Rebel 350 DSLR camera (it's now 18 years old) and make some photos for the interwebs.

It's great to have The Bad Batch back. A 3 episode finale is great and all but it means that there is less time until the series finale. Animated Star Wars is given a lot of flak in the past, sometimes rightfully so for crap episodes and the initially jarring art style. On the other hand it is the source for really imaginative and sometimes the best Star Wars stories.

The difference between applying matte varnish on acrylic paint is less noticeable than anticipated, especially when using an airbrush. I'm used to use brush-on varnish and it ended up making the product look a bit more wax-y as the thickness of the varnish was a lot thicker, especially on miniatures.

Exclusive preview! It's not finished but I have nearly completed gift for a friend. The paint is still drying and needs some varnish, as well as a magnet on the back side. Other than that it is practically done. Sadly the colors don't show up well in the photo. i did end up beating infinite wealth and am making my way through the postgame, was a bit shocked that Chitose never becomes one of the romance options (unlike Saeko, who becomes romanceable towards the end of the last game), but then again maybe I shouldn't be shocked that Kasuga maybe doesn't want to be sexually involved with the person whose introduction to the series was putting rohypnol in his drink

I got my mail box. It has some questionable design choices. I'm a layman when it comes to designing such things but it made me think. I can unhinge the the top side of the door for the parcel access when I reach my arm into the half-open package door. I can 3d print a fix to block access to that. I wish I had the tools and time to make my own, however it'd be probably 10 times more expensive with a high chance of failure.

My friends prefer to use wireless headsets and the mics are hard to listen to. The sound is highly compressed and the high frequencies are cut off. I don't want to complain to my friends as it would be a dick move. I always say to myself that there are worse sounding microphones and I can be happy with the quality I'm subjected to.
