Or you can decide that this is a new beginning for you. That maybe you've said or done things that you aren't proud of but you are ready to make it right any way you need too. This is your defining moment. You have an opportunity to make things right as long as you've got two hands to write and two legs to walk and a nice set of lungs to speak with. Sure it's going to be a whole hell of a lot easier to give up before you start but not nearly as satisfying, not even close. You can be whatever you want to be. Even a not dick. So chin up. You've got a long road ahead.

@zeldatra Well, you can't work to overcome those imperfections, until you recognize and embrace them. I like to think of Wreck-it Ralph in this situation. "I am bad, and that's good." We are who we are, and no amount of regret or mourning can change that. If you truly want to be rid of your perfections, you have to accept it, and move forward.

@bowandlyre There are many reasons, she is transgender, also a great writer of Conversion bureau stories (which a lot of fanfic review ponies hate). Have no idea why anyone so nice and wordy and can be treated so badly.
