@awl I've heard so.
-
@awl I think the thing is they're supposed to be illegal to sell because they're gov't property, but surplus gets around that?
-
@awl Heck, you can find them on Amazon by the crateful.
-
@awl Oh, and K-rations sundry from MREs. Outdated by about 40-50 years.
-
@awl American here, you can buy them legally.
-
@awl Wait... are you a red bat horse by chance? Cause every damn song on the planet in Bandcamp is supported by an AWal and it's givin me a mighty competitive edge!
-
@awl Ask communistprime, he probably has an idea since he did service.
-
@awl I don't think it's an ability you can learn, you have it or you don't.
-

@firestormdangerdash @awl click on my name, press "remote follow" on my SPC profile then when it asks what account you want to use to follow type "firestormdangerdash@rainbowdash.net" in there. It'll redirect you to a confirmation page on RDN.

@firestormdangerdash @awl Because I'm posting from mangoposter.club. My posts will only show on your main timeline if you're subscribed to me.

@awl Nice. Out of the city is always better as long as you can get to work in a reasonable amount of time.
-
@awl Nice to see that working out for you. Maybe you can get more models whenever you get to own a house and don't need to move. If you're building, an extra room specifically for hobby stuff isn't a big expense.
-
@awl Oh, moved again? still with that girl or?
Plastic ones are really fragile, but usually offer a lot of detail. You're supposed to put them in a shelf or plastic case where nothing can touch them though. Individual acrylic cases or a shelf with glass walls ideally. -
@awl Nice. It was kind of the same with me and the panzer vi. Liked that one so much that I started actually researching tanks, armor, ballistics and all that. Not to mention WWI dogfighting and WWII tank combat were the last cases of more "knightly" combat in open war that we've had, and probably the last for a very long while.
The Me109 is a beautiful plane, still have the kits around? -
@awl Oh, yeah, those are much harder, if more detailed. I'd need to invest in an aerograph kit, paint, glue, and a bunch of things for them, even though they're generally cheaper than pre-assembled kits. I have one of a french jet fighter somewhere. There's also another collection being sold of WWII planes, but tanks are my real passion. It's probably available in mexico too since the editorial works over there too, so you could get them if interested. The planes are a bit bigger than the tanks and come pre-painted and in about 3-4 parts to assemble.
-
@awl Ye. Cast metal with plastic gun and details, rubber treads. Full collection would probably cost about $1000 over a year but I think I'm going to get it so when I move I can put it on a dedicated shelf. Each number includes the model tank and a normie-friendly little magazine with details and history about the model.

@awl Not you, you hate everyone because you're angry lenin.
-
@awl Auto work?
-
@awl Yeah, 2013 was the start of it all because I told him to seek help for his anger issues after some fight I had to stop on the timeline and suddenly I was no longer his friend, I was the devil. That would have been fine if a third of the userbase and part of the staff didn't step into a personal feud.
