  5. To anypony who has programmed for Android: Do you have to know Java to do it? I want to make games for Google Cardboard but I don’t know Java.

  7. Deep in the Everfree Forest, archaeologists have uncovered ancient pony gravesites from before Discord’s reign. Only earth ponies skeletons have been found, but digging continues.

  11. @rarity Totally. It must've been an entirely different experience back then o_O. For a lot of the time, grass didn't even exist yet.

  12. @caret7 It's heaven being able to export Tiled maps as JSON. In Python, you can load the JSON-encoded map with just json.load("mymap.json").

  14. @redenchilada You should, and I don't think there's a problem with the design of the level. It's just really hard, like the first Zelda

  26. @rarity Oh, I think I saw my uncle playing that Injustice game :o. Related to Weapons Master, I had an idea – if there was a fighting game for computer, where you could start a match from the command line ("fight.exe SubZero Scorpion"), a Weapons Master would be super easy to build on top of that

  27. @rarity Weapons Master mode was the "campaign" mode. It was amazing because each battle was prefixed by a text story. Like, "leaving the familiar orange foundations of the academy once and for all, you walk towards a small fishing village. A rowdy gang of teenagers sees you pass by, and invites you to show them what you learned." Cue battle
