Ponified version of @southernnarwhal, also known as Ellie. Did it on Paint Tool SAI again, and loving the program. Tried to do a different position, as well as a more accurate shading/lighting, I don't really know if it worked so please tell all the issues with the drawing. !art

So, I did a simple ponified version of @northernnarwhal (Taira), using some shading techniques that I am learning, as well as using Paint Tool SAI this time instead of Photoshop. My lineart is kinda poor but I had no patience to refine them. The forelegs perspective is applesty as well but I just realised that when I finished so, yeah. @beatstrings It is beautiful. The little gestures she makes. My god the non-verbal is amazing in this work. The little smile, the way her knees are inward, and the arched back with the elbow. It is amazingly well done.

@ellistia Do you think it's easier doing digital art as opposed to hand drawn?

@deadmadness665 hard to say really... obviously there are some pretty big advantages to digital, the main ones being the ability to ctrl+z and use layers. But then with traditional there'll be less worry with precision since you aren't working in pixels, and you also have the freedom to do it pretty much anywhere, without needing a computer. When it comes down to it I think it just depends on how much practice you get with each, and then personal preference.
