@purplephish20 The last one was an excellent meetup and entirely devoid of spaghetti. Of course, I suspect things can't go that well twice in a row, but either way, it'll be enjoyable. ...I have a sinking suspicion that someone will think it's a good idea for the entire group to go to build-a-bear and make a nuisance of themselves though.

@nerthos It was two different physical layers, typically drawn by different people. The detailed background layer, and then the parts that animate were physically placed in front.

Y'know, the bad old days of hand animation where you could tell what objects were going to move in the next scene because they were a slightly different color to everything else.

@zeldatra I think it's because most of the people who say that haven't watched cartoons since they were about 10 years old, during that period where farming it out to far eastern slave factories was still cheaper than using a comptuer.
