Oh frig! You know when your dreams involve you collecting a lot of toys, and then they don't exist in real life? And you wake up and you don't have them any more?

@thelastgherkin Replace "toys" with "records" and that is literally one of the earliest dreams I can remember having, and also when I started to fully comprehend the difference between the waking and sleeping worlds.

@ceruleanspark It usually involves digging through the backyard of my childhood home and finding old, rare coins from like the pioneer days and junk, whether that's historically accurate or not.

@mintystarshine Actually super cool. Do you use a metal detector, or just dig in likely spots?

@ceruleanspark I usually end up on them by chance in the dream. I always end up washing them. Sometimes I lose them or almost lose them in places that I could never get them back from, such as the dropping them in the stream near my home and the current washes them away. My dreams are weird.
