  1. I hope like 10 years from now, this show ends up like the simpsons where they have over like 15 seasons and since the only people who still watch the show is this fandom, they make episode versions of fan fics!!! any one else want this?

    1. @rainbowsdash I much prefer it when shows end gracefully before their time has long since expired.

    2. @rainbowsdash I can give you a guarantee that this won't happen. Little girls will always outnumber you

        1. @rainbowsdash Not really. I don't think I want to live in a world where someone's ship fic is airing on saturday morning Cartoon Network or whatever else channel is airing MLP (assuming it somehow gets renewed that often)

          1. @scoot Just the Hub, a jointly owned network between Hasbro and Discovery Kids.

            1. @mrmattimation This entire hypothesis was based 10+ years in the future, so I was assuming The Hub vanished by that point. I know that MLP airs on The Hub in America, I used to watch the show remember

              1. @scoot Being honest, I don't think a show being renewed past its tenth season is a ridiculous thought anymore. People used to site The Simpsons as being the only example, but it's become the norm in the world of cartoons. Both Spongebob and Family Guy are at 15 years, South Park has been renewed til at least it's 20th season, I'm pretty sure Regular Show and Adventure Time might

                1. @mrmattimation *make it to 10

                2. @mrmattimation Adventure Time maybe, Regular Show perhaps if it keeps pulling in viewers and MLP almost certainly not as Hasbro will probably just make enough episodes that they can repeat them forever and keep their target audience of little girls interested for a long time

    3. @rainbowsdash I dunno, I don't really want it to jump the shark.
