Alright, so if I've got a 3D shot, and I want its speed to match the 12 frames per second speed of a 2D cartoon, but the final video file itself will be 24 frames per second, how would i go about this?

@mrmattimation Divide it by two

@derphoove I don't think you understand. The *.swf will be, on a technical level, 24 frames per second. I get the 12 frames number because I animate on twos. The final MP4, after all post production, will be 24 frames per second. Therefore, exporting the 3D at 12 fps would be pointless because it would just end up getting sped up in After Effects.

@mrmattimation So after that explanation (and my admittedly knowing jack about animation), it seems pretty clear to do it at 24 if 12 will get sped up.

@scribus But I want it to match the overall speed of the Flash animation, which is 12 frames per second.

@mrmattimation What if you did it at 24 but odd frames were duplicates of the even frame either before or after it?
-
@scribus I don't know how to do that in Blender. I've been googling it to no avail, so I was hoping that I could just like use some fancy math mangoes to get it to work, but looking back I realize that wouldn't work.
