@mrmattimation it is recommended for job applicants, and i certainly would not hurt.
Or you could get mrmattimation.com (or whatever) and use it for your email. -

@mrmattimation Definitely. I was at the beck and call of a government-led employment agency for too long and the first thing they said about my CV was that my email wasn't professional enough.

@mrmattimation Buy a domain (They're like $10 a year) and set it up to use google apps. Then you can have a totally custom professional email address that uses Googles interface. You don't even need your own server

@cinnamonswirl I just use mail.com for all my email addresses... I have about half a dozen or so through them.
