@tiffany A piece of software you use every time you power up your computer, whose primary purpose is to stop people from either robbing you or destroying your stuff? No, there's no reason you should want to pay for that.

@ceruleanspark I mean like it kinda feels like it should be... included with the computer, I guess. I dunno. When I asked that question, I literally was asking for people to prove me wrong

@tiffany Windows DOES come with anti-virus. It's the worst thing ever and nobody uses it and that's why we have paid services.

@tiffany Oh totally, I just think it's surprising web servers don't need such technology but desktops shielded by home routers do.
