OMG they should make a Zootopia animated series.

@scribus The visual style would likely have to be changed to something more economical to fit a tv schedule, but Zootopia itself is open ended enough that it'd be possible for spinoffs to occur.

@narwhal The characters would basically have to snap into all of their poses, like what happened with all of the Dreamworks TV spinoffs.

@narwhal Yeah, exactly. I don't know that a sequel would be as good, but I want to see more if this world and these characters. Disney has had success with spin-off series from their films before.

@mrmattimation I was thinking more along the lines of adapting the series to a 2D animated program for something like Disney XD

@scribus I dunno if I'd enjoy it in long form but a buddy cop series with Nick and Judy that expanded on the thematic conclusions of the original film sounds like a pretty fun time

@mrmattimation In fairness, it could possibly lend an opportunity for up-and-coming VAs to land work and recognition.
