  1. Is Cartman's mom still his dad or have they retconned that?

    1. @scribus Unfortunately, the episode where they address it actually can't be watched legally except with the Season 14 DVD. The two-part episode, "200 & 201", was banned because Muslim extremists threatened to bomb Comedy Central over it. To save you some time, Cartman's dad is actually Scott Tenorman's dad, who was one of the Denver Broncos.

      1. @mrmattimation So is his mom also not a hermaphrodite? I just watched "The Cissy" and I can't help wondering why she never even came up. Or would that just be too far back for a brick joke?

    2. @scribus The "Cartman's Mom is a hermaphrodite" story was basically hand-waved as being something the town made up to protect the Denver Broncos, who were having a really good season that year and they didn't want Cartman to be a distraction to them.

        1. @scribus What's really funny about the whole thing is that Kyle makes a speech at the end of the episode that was censored entirely because Comedy Central was afraid it would mango off terrorists. The whole two-minute speech was just one long bleep. The uncensored version was leaked onto the internet a few years back. The content? "Terrorism works and all you have to do to get what you want is threaten people".

          1. @mrmattimation Hey, Fluffle Puffin, it works, man. I only got a therapist because I threatened to kill myself in their lobby and god damn that was a low point. It's like my soul can feel its bones scraping.

          2. @mrmattimation i remember watching this but not on dvd. Was this uncensored when they put it out on South Park Studios?

            1. @awl "200" was released uncensored. "201" was not, it went up on South Park Studios with all profanity bleeps intact and then they took it, along with "200" and "Super Best Friends" down shortly afterwards.

              1. @mrmattimation @awl in addition, 201 is censored on the DVD as well. It's the only episode on the Season 14 DVD which is bleeped.

                1. @mrmattimation memory fails me. I recall Kyle's speech but not to the exact.

                  1. @snowfawlake Thought I should answer this two-month old question: the speech was released uncensored, just not legally. Somebody found the uncensored version of the episode just sitting unlinked on Comedy Central's webserver and uploaded the speech (which was about how terrorism works) onto various internet sites.

          3. @mrmattimation I also like how they were afraid it was going to banana off terrorists instead of inspire them. Like of the ones that you think is worse?

            1. @scribus Comedy Central really were scared for their own backs with that one. Revolution Muslim made public the address of Trey & Matt's compound in Colorado and their offices in California, but Viacom (the parent company) is located on Times Square so they were basically thinking that they would be the easier and more visible targets.
