@scribus I found that the system lagged in a way that made the experience unfaithful, and the controllers lagged in a way that made it unplayable. I did not test the cartridge slot. 20 of the 85 games are Devry grad project bloat instead of actual Sega games. Damn, I wanted to like it, though....

@scribus Did you use an analog video signal on a HDTV? I find that the analog video processing of modern TVs introduces a ton of lag. Once I played Mega Man 2 on our HDTV and it was unplayable, original hardware NES obviously.

@adiwan Matter of fact, I have my NES still hooked up with the RF box on an HD TV and it's not noticable to me. I wonder if my cheap TV actually has integrated some kind of fix or other....

@scribus if memory serves they also run on PAL hardware, so everything is 50hz instead of 60. Sonic's gotta go for a reasonably paced jog.
